Nitendo Switch Good Job! Review - Gave Up (1/5)

Good Job! , Paladin Studios, Nintendo Switch, 2020

Time to give up : 2 hours.

Summary

Photo : Nintendo Korea

Funny and neat puzzle. But it feels uncomfortable to control the character.

I will retry this game when I forget the ARPG control from Final Fantasy 7, SEKIRO and so on.

GOOD

+ A simple but quiet thought-provoking puzzle.

+ Physical engines that are both real and gamey in moderation.

+ A sense of cool when breaking things

+ Cute graphic and colors.

BAD

- Control. Especially an uncomfortable rotation.

Introduction

The goal of the game is simple.

Clear the mission in the office.

You’re offered to connect the internet in office,

Or get people to attend the meeting or something like that.

Most puzzle configurations aim to move objects or people to a set position.

The funny things in this game are interaction with the furniture in the office to clear the mission.

Pull the chair using the power cord and the internet wire.

Push the people, drop things up high, smash the office.

There will be a few ways to clear the puzzle.

The difficulty level is also well balanced, not quite easy and difficult.

The introduction of this game is as follows.

- Good

- The reason I gave up.

Good

It’s a game with many good features.

The cute and pretty graphics and humorous atmosphere make the puzzle enjoyable.

Also, when things break down, they have a good sense of hitting and sound.

So it's good to relieve stress.

Another advantage is that the puzzle has a variety of types.

Besides the goal of finding or retrieving goods,

There is crane operation and so on.

No matter how messy the office is, even if it takes a long time,

If you clear the puzzle and move on to the next level.

It was good for me to move on to the next puzzle regardless of the score.

The reason I gave up

물건을 잡고 끄는 인터랙션이 그닥 경쾌하지 만은 않습니다.

The reason I gave up is the control of character.

I think I've changed my sense because I've been playing a lot of fast games lately.

I was frustrated because character moves slowly with inertia and gravity.

There were a lot of missions that had to be rotated, but the control was very unsatisfactory.

There's a mission where you have to put your target at a specific location.

I got a little pissed off at that time.

Because of the fatigue of the manipulation, I didn't have the power to lead the game further.

Closing

If I miss a simple puzzle game, I want to try it again.

I'm going to try again after playing arcade or platform games.

I don't think it's going to be easy right now.

But if you are looking for a simple and enjoyable puzzle game, you will definitely love it.
